Track how much thread you have
When I posted about my app in a Facebook Group, among the first things that people started suggesting was to be able to track HOW MUCH thread you have. I had already begun working on the Projects feature and wanted to get that finished first, but I knew that everyone was right about needing this.
I actually had planned on implementing quantity at the start, but ended up scrapping it…I was building for myself and most of my projects are so small that I rarely require more than one skein of any color (so 95% of my thread colors are only a skein, maybe less). But after seeing how other stitchers in the community are amazing and work on complex and largescale pieces (and I aspire to get on that level!!), I can see the necessity of knowing how many skeins you truly have!!
I’m hoping that over the weekend, the “quantities” feature will be rolled out!
But for now, here are some preliminary screenshots! I really love how the project screen shows you how much you have tracked in the Thread Box and Shopping List — I think that will be super helpful to know!
